Implement of Husbandry

The Implement of Husbandry plate type arose from the sunsetting of the Tractor plate type in 1984. In order to qualify for an Implement of Husbandry plate, your implement must meet certain size and usage restrictions and must be operated on the farm. There is a similar plate type for farm equipment that is used on roads: Commercial Implement of Husbandry, which came out in 1997.
